Job Title: Janitor
General Summary: This position requires a janitor to maintain a clean environment for Janitorial Inc’s clients.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follows client specification sheets to properly clean their assigned job sites
  • Report the need of supplies for the site to immediate supervisor
  • Report any broken or missing equipment to immediate supervisor
  • Self Inspection of work performed to insure job duties were completed according to client specifications
  • Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing
  • Site specific duties as communicated through site training and orientation
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to follow instructions including safety and employment standards policies and requirements
  • Work alone with minimal supervision
  • Must physically be able to stand or walk for a long period of time
  • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Other tasks will require reaching above shoulders, bending, stooping, kneeling and stretching to accomplish tasks
  • Must be able to follow Janitorial Inc. safety policy
  • Site specific requirements may be added
Education and Experience:
  • No special educational requirement for this position however experience is preferred
