What are your hobbies?
Walking, used to like to shoot pool and fishing, unfortunately he doesn’t get to do them much anymore.

What do you like most about Geil Enterprises?
They give you a chance to grow into a better person in terms of the job, as long as your willing to do the work, they are willing to give you an opportunity.

What were some of the jobs you did before starting at Geil Enterprises?
I used to manage a liquor store and as a delivery man (milkman).

What is your earliest memory about Geil Enterprises?
The hiring process. They had a job search in Merced and when I applied, I didn’t have a guard card and was on the bottom of the applicant pool. But they called me to interview and test.

What is the funniest or most interesting thing that happened while at work?
As a Site supervisor at Certainteed, they had an airplane land on the of a plane landing on the property. All of this happened because the pilot of the airplane wanted to refuel in Chowchilla instead of Fresno because of cheaper fuel prices. The plane was left in 3 pieces in a truck, much more of a cost than the tank of the gas.

Who was the most influential person to you at Geil Enterprises?
John Orta because he was my first supervisor. The first time I became a site supervisor at a power plant and John was running Certainteed.

How has your job progressed?
I started off as a security officer at a power plant and today I am a lieutenant.

Where did you attend high school?
Merced High School.

What is your most significant accomplishment as an employee?
Being a site supervisor at Certainteed, we were awarded site of the year as a team.

How do you hope to be remembered?
Someone that could be depended on.
