Dick began his career in Public Accounting in 1957 with the Grand Rapids, Michigan office of the national certified public accounting firm then known as Touche, Niven, Bailey & Smart. Retired after 15 years as Partner-In-Charge of the Fresno office (then known as Deloitte & Touche) and after a total of 38 years with the Firm. During his years with the firm, served clients in many industries including retail, banking, manufacturing, agricultural, service and non-profit.

Dick has been a member of the Rotary Club of Fresno for 32 years; he is a past president and current treasurer. He also is a member of the Tehran Shriners, where he is the business manager and a past potentate
